Minnesota just announced that Naz would be their starting 4 to replace Randle tol

Yea I don't get this and definitely didn't see it coming. However, I will be tuning in to TWolves games now though to see how it unfolds.
I dunno if it'll work out, but I do know they'll be fun to watch. Definitely a league pass team

Giannis and Bam make no sense, they should dump Bam for a guard

Played with trade machine and in order for Boston and Miami to swap Brown and Bam it would have to be something like:

Boston: Bam, Mitchell, Jovic
Miami: Brown

That would make the salary match and leave both teams with just over $30M to fill out the roster. Which Miami would need to do because they'd have like 6 dudes on the roster.

Imagine they work a deal to swap Bam for Jaylen Brown
Yea, the first video in your post makes it clear that the officer near the car was definitely hit.

And I agree it looks like the 2nd officer wasn't tracking the bystander to their left. Very sad and unfortunate.
WTF is wrong with people?

Assuming that officer that prones out behind the car got hit and may be the one who passed?

My GF and her family binge watched it yesterday. I caught the last 2 episodes. They really liked it and the parts I saw were pretty good.

I just have the final two episodes left. I've enjoyed it so far.

Just have to ignore the trolls, man. Find the reasonable people, respond to them, and ignore the rest.

If you want to start the game thread, go for it.

As a Pels fan, I obviously have no dog in this hunt. You’re an OKC fan—we get that. No one expects you to be embarrassed by how your team plays; you’re rooting for results, and we all understand that.

However, I think it would go a long way if an OKC or SGA fan could just acknowledge: 'Yeah, Shai is my guy, he’s the MVP, and he’s getting us a ring—but I can see how his style of play might turn some people away.'

It’s not like you have to denounce the guy. Most basketball fans appreciate a small-market team that plays elite defense. But the staunch unwillingness to be objective about his style (despite the amazing results) is exactly what leads to your interactions being primarily with trolls.

Play 1: As Shai turns into triple threat position and goes for pull up, Reaves has both hands on arm

Play 2: As Shai pulls up, Kennard makes clear contact with shooting elbow before shot is released

Plays 1 & 2. Marginal contact. In the playoffs, if the shot isn't significantly altered, that whistle stays in the pocket.

Play 3: Shai steps on Aytons foot (called a foul on IHart when Reaves did) Ayton then swipes down as Shai goes for shot attempt (no call on either)

This is "incidental" territory. Hunting a call on a foot-tangle is a high-risk, low-reward play in a high-stakes series.

Play 4: Shai goes to split the double and Kennard runs into him, gets semi clean attempt up

Initiating contact while splitting a double often results in a "no-call" or an offensive foul if the flail is too aggressive.

Play 5: Shai drives from left to right, Hayes jumps and his momentum carries him into Shai as he is airborne

If Shai is the one seeking the contact to draw the whistle, refs are trained to let it go unless it's a flagrant landing zone issue.

Hope this helps

But again, I have no interest in arguing these ticky-tacky fouls. Because Shai is so much better than any other guard in this series that we shouldn't be!

It's not that he isn't getting hit or the Lakers aren't getting away with stuff, it's that he's too good to even be playing for the whistle in the first place.

Even as a Thunder fan, you can at least acknowledge the narrative around him, no? Don't you want to see him get no calls and still just hang 50 on em? Wouldn't that go a long way in shutting-up a lot of the "haters?"

Not meant to be a troll post as I’m rooting for OKC in this series, but man…these are bad.

The Lakers have no one who can stay in front of SGA and he’s not getting his ‘Hall of Fame Whistle’ against LeBron.

So hopefully SGA just says to hell with the foul baiting and we get to see him torch the Lakers while only shooting single digit free throws/game.

To me, that would do a lot for him and silence some critics.

Hate to be that guy, but I don't see him coming here at all.

He's much more likely to wind up at:

-UF is Golden goes to the Warriors
-Orlando is they move on from Mosely (who likely ends up here)
