Bama has 3 losses and 1 very bad loss to ou. GTFO with that bs. Yall got left out like you should have. Same goes for Ole Miss and SCar too.

What you just described is LSU 8 out 10 years.

You guys keep focusing on Alabama, but what really happened was SoS was made to be meaningless.

There is no reason to play quality regular season games anymore.

DEI playoff era.

Alabama isn't even the only team that got screwed.

Putting Bama in would have been DEI. They got blew out by a bad OU team and only scored 3 points. 3 losses

What you just described is LSU 8 out 10 years.

LSU is irrelevant to this discussion

And welcome, Bama- you just joined LSU on the bench.

You have to admit, the SMU boosters made the right move. They jumped to the ACC and agreed on getting NO TV money to do so. But that got them into a respected conference, which landed them an at-large bid to the playoffs.
Pony Express is back, guys. Not this year, but soon they will be a legit power.

Texas got a very favorable draw. Georgia got a terrible draw. ND can stop the run very well. Beck may not be healthy. UGA is on upset alert.

The entire system is dumb is the problem.

I don't even really care about the Alabama part, we aren't a championship contending team and the whole thing is really just an audition to see how gets to be the guy with some other dudes nuts in your face in a dunking poster.

It's the way the teams are chosen that I have a problem with. Schedule strength should mean something. Teams should not be rewarded for playing a SoS ranked #84 and then on top of it, losing to the only good teams it plays.

I'd have disagreed with the exact order, but if it was Ole Miss or South Carolina or any team that was somewhat comparable I can live with. Those are teams that actually played good teams, won some and lost some. They are comparable to Alabama.

SMU, Clemson, Indiana and Boise St aren't remotely comparable.

What is the point in playing a tough schedule? Bring back the BCS.

Until I quit watching college football, which is probably pretty soon.

This discussion really started for me back when Boise St was the "BCS Buster". SoS and it's importance was the entire reason I wrote a ranking system back in the day.

Teams should NOT be rewarded for playing shite schedules. PERIOD.

It's not my fault you are stupid and think it's just about Alabama.

Texas has an easy path the first 2 games. What's new?

Not an Alabama fan but SMU would get crushed by Alabama.

Texas has the easiest path but Texas could break a record and be the first team to lose to same team three times in a year.

texas and pennst got good draws. especially pennst because they're in the bracket w/o texas, osu, tenn and oregon. pennst, uga and ND is a much easier bracket.

Everyone taking shots at Bama will be in a same situation one day and get fricked over in favor of some glorified junior college team. You’ll get your comeuppance because this system is locked in and complete bullshite.
