It's hard to pick just one, but I would say the blowout of #1Miami in the 85 Sugar Bowl.

Honorable Mention:

"Miracle at South Bend" In 1991 Vols overcame a 31-7 halftime deficit to win 35-34.

as we should have on Nov. 5

for some reason the alabama people just can't seem to ever give the other team credit. It's the disease of classlessness and it starts with the head coach. Pretty sad.

Hmmmm DS, I wouldn't say that statement is completely off base and classless. I think we should have beat the game on 11-5. We played the better game. LSU had a short field ALL NIGHT LONG from missed Bama fieldgoals. Bama was driving the field everytime from within our own 10. We played the better game but the chips just didn't fall our way at the end. (Schit happens)

On the flip side I can admit that LSU outplayed Bama last year in Baton Rouge. We had 1 good final drive, coupled with that stupid prevent D yall ran when you had already been holding us all night and we stole the game. (Again schit happens)

I'm a Bama fan and I try to look at teams objectively without Crimson colored glasses. I understand teams make their own fate and if one team fails to capitalize on another mistakes then that their own fault. But overall Bama played a better game on 11-5. 1-9 was basically the same game. We just made our fieldgoals.

1978 Orange Bowl for us with a couple victories over Texas being close. We suspended almost 80% of our offense ans started the third string running back. Before the suspensions we were 16 poi t underdogs, after them no one gave us a chance at all. We won 31-6.

I was at that Orange Bowl. My dad is from Bradley County. It was the only game my grandmother saw the Hogs play in person her entire life. And, yes, Roland Sales is still running though the Sooner D.

SC was legit

Please. You got beat by Stephen fricking Garcia. SC went on to lose to UK the following week, win the weakest East in memory before getting humiliated in the SECCG and bowl. They were not legit - Bama's pass rush and secondary were weak shite.

These are the 2 that first come to mind. "Miracle at South Bend" was the first game that I watched start to finish. Will always be grateful to my grandparents for making me watch that game. Hooked!

i'll go with what the fans have already said and say either 2006 @ AU where we count punched brandon cox into throwing more balls to georgia defenders than AU wrs or 2001 in knoxville. 01 holds a place in many people's hearts but that 2006 game totally surprised the shite out of me. there may be wins in our past that are more profound but since 1990 idk of any other 2 games more fitting.

that being said, i personally have never been more surprised by Georgia than this year when we played UF. totally caught me off guard. i figured richt was prepared to wilt and die like usual after that abortion in columbia and i was waiting for UF to roll up 30 something somehow and Georgia manage like 7-13. for some reason i forgot UF didn't play offense

You obviously didn't play the better game because you lost.

You don't think our punter had anything to do with your field position? Wing was awesome all night and pinned you back deep.

In a low scoring game like that special teams really matter an y'all sucked at it.

2001 Unranked AU vs #1 Florida

With ten seconds remaining, Tigers placekicker Damon Duval nailed a 44-yard field goal and the Tigers upset the top-ranked Gators 23–20

I agree with 2008 Bama/Uga.

Yall were 12th in the country at the time and went on to go 12-0.

The year before Bama was 7-6; Georgia was 11-1 and Georgia has beaten Alabama in T-town.

Bama had JP Wilson; Georgia had Matthew Stafford (#1 draft pick in 2009).

Alabama started the season ranked #24 AP; Georgia was the preseason #1 AP and Coaches pick.

And don't forget, Bama was just in the 2nd year under Saban and Julio and Mark Ingram were freshmen.

I don't count the Auburn games as much considering our record in Jordan Hare.

I'd say the 97 game in J-ville. Went in the game as 17 point dawgs (swidt?) and beat the Univ. of Northern Cuba by 17.

The other would be in 1965 when we went to Ann Arbor and beat Top 5 Michigan. We came back celebrated by the entire South as many could still smell the powder burning.

This for AU. Also, this may be the biggest upset in the past 25 years in the SEC.

UF was favored by 26.5.

For reference, UF was favored by 17 against LSU in 1997.
