YPC is a great stat, but lets get real here Total yards and TDs are what matters when it comes to RBs, sometimes yards a game.
From your post
Johnson has 587 yards on 121 carries in the SEC
Harris has 539 yards on 55 carries in the SEC
Harris has almost equaled Johnsons yardages output with less than half the carries

They just wanted to stick 3 actual CBs on there so they labeled him a NB.

Are you saying it is a factor or not? Because you can decide if you want to promote Herschel over Bo or Chubb over Johnson.
That said....Auburn has played more conference games than Georgia (And most SEC teams), too. (That said for the "Compare only by conference statistics" post)
ETA
And I think his point was that missing two games has not hurt Johnson's chances at production.

Wait, are you serious? Thought he was out for the year.
Edit: Nm, maybe for the bowl game. Was about to go pick him up in my cfb fantasy league.

Because the original post I responded to said "...and he is the leading rusher despite missing two games."
So I was pointing out that despite missing two games, he had more volume than anyone else. I also said he deserved to be on the list, along with Harris. Calm your tits.

kirk maybe as a return specialist, but hasnt done anything to warrant being 1st team WR. lazy voting as usual.

I get that, but there is still no way Tolliver should make the list. He didn't even start at the beginning of the year. Lost his spot to Greedy Williams who is a red shirt freshman.

yet who has more yards and TDs. When the end of the year awards come, what are the primary two stats listed for RBs? Do they have any awards based on YPC? Again, in 2010, do you consider Ontereo McCalleb the best RB or Corey Grant in '13 or Eddie LAcy in '11 or Demps in '09 or Harvin in '08? because based on your reply, the answer is yes...

To be fair to Kelly, he's a really fvckin good running back playing in a total dog shite offense without a QB and a terrible OL.
Sounds a lot like Fournette and Guice. Our OL and and QB are probably better than whatever TN is putting out there, but then again, so is Guice (and so was Fournette).
I only say that to say that it sucks when a clearly awesome player is hindered by the supporting cast.

Ol Damien would have to bust his arse for a huge 0.72YPC on his next 66 carries to equal Johnson.........

and TDs
Johnson scores .116 tds per touch in the SEC.

Marco is a freshman...kid is an absolute stud Db. No one talks about him because he just locks down, isnt a big risk taker on interceptions. Kid reminds me a ton of Peterson actually.

Harris is 3rd in the league in rush yards, 26 yards behind #1
McCalleb finished 12th in rush yards, 663 yards behind #1
Grant finished 16th in rush yards, 1,169 yards behind #1
Lacy finished 11th in rush yards, 1,005 yards behind #1
So, not exactly the same thing. Those guys were backups or specialists. Harris is just the #1 in a group of 3-4 guys on a team that has been winning most of their games by 30 points at halftime, and his total yards are still very similar to the top 2 backs.

I am saying Yards per game and total yards/TD's on the season matter. Yards per game merely for comparing backs who played different amount of games, like HW's 11 games a season vs Henry's '15
I have no problem in saying HW was better than Bo in production. Bo's mystique comes from a few other aspects. Having the added carries doesnt equate into added yards though. the vast majority of times, when adding carries, YPC dramatically goes down

Auburn has played more conference games than Georgia (And most SEC teams)
AU and UA have played one more game than the rest of the conference. Chubb is right about 100ypg in conference, Harris 108, KJ 117.

Missing two games has absolutely hurt his production, it hasnt hurt his stature in relation to the rest of the conference though

Great but again who actually leads the over stats, the guy with better per carry stats or the guy who actually leads in stats.
Would you consider a guy who played a great few games and no others vs one who finishes the season a leader in the stats as the better back in the year?

Damien Harris is the best RB in the SEC right now. I don't know how you can discount his YPC. It's insane.
