I'm of the opinion that Bryce Young would have to have the greatest season by a QB of all time by a large margin, culminating with him being literally killed on the field during the Iron Bowl only for him to rise from the dead and lead the team to a come-from-behind win in the waning seconds of the game, for them to actually give him a second Heisman.

Yeah, it's become seemingly impossible for a player to win another Heisman. Most recently, Lamar Jackson should have won the Heisman in 2016 and 2017. It's as if replicating an incredible Heisman season the following year isn't good enough to win the award twice.

If we are looking for value in a bet, KJ Jefferson at 150/1 is ridiculous.

Drop a $20 down and call it a day.

Baker was no slouch in 2017.

I didn't ay Baker was a slouch, but Jackson didn't even finish runner-up or even close to runner-up. I feel like if you win a Heisman, to win it again, you have to have a lot better season than your Heisman season, which is almost an impossible ask with the numbers some of these guys put up.

Or hell, even Jason White. He won the award in 2003. In 2004, both he and Leinart were on undefeated teams heading the the Heisman ceremony. Here were their stats:

Leinart:
2990 yds passing, 28 TDs, 6 INTs, 66% comp

White:
2964 yds passing, 33 TDs, 6 INTs, 65% comp

Leinart received nearly 100 more 1st place votes than did White with almost identical numbers and a slight edge to White. In fairness, Adrian peterson should have won it over both, but I digress

Some of those names being above Will Rogers is laughable.

I actually like the odds of putting a bill on Anderson and Rogers both.

Young will take a step back without his top receivers imo and rarely does anyone get the award back to back

The media will be motivated for Will Anderson. Lots of media were really campaigning for him late.

He might be a victim of Bama fatigue with Bama just winning the last two Heismans. Also he will be splitting the Alabama vote with Bryce Young again. He might deserve it, but some factors working against him for sure.

100/1 is great value on Myles

If he can stay healthy this offense will rely solely on him and his WRs are filthy

Health is a bitch though

My prediction is Max won’t start and Myles will get hurt. That’s why it’s funny either are even that high compared to Jefferson or Rodgers.

Sure, but we all know that it’s a popularity contest and W/L record plays such a huge factor.

Nobody is going to win it unless they are on a Top 10 team.
