Haha overrated? That’s exactly where they were picked to finish. Where did these retards come from.

I bet you were one of those posters jacking your jaws in 19 about how LSU couldn’t win the Natty after giving up 1,000 yards of offense to Ole Miss.

In 2003, LSU began the season ranked 14th in the AP and 15th in the Coach’s poles after finishing the 2002 season 8-5.

Too bad for the media we actually have to play the season out.

CBS rated my fantasy draft the worst in the league the year I won the title

UGA, Texas, Bama are automatic at the top. Ole Miss is right up there too. I have no reason to put LSU above Tennessee at this juncture. Right there off the bat that's 5 teams so LSU is looking at 6th at best. Then when you look at OU/Missouri/LSU in that next tier, ti's hard to truly differentiate one being any better than the others.

I believe a lot of folks are sleeping on Mizzu, they are right behind Uga, Bama, TX imo

BK can go 9-3 and not win the division with the Heisman trophy qb, imagine what he can do with this year's team

Winning the division actually hurts more than helps. One extra game before the playoffs to have a starter(s) injured. Meanwhile, 3rd place gets extra rest for the playoffs. what if you lay an egg In the Conference championship?

Finishing 3rd In the SEC is enough to get you In the national 8-9 range In most years. Some top 6

I agree. The conference championship games are still unfair even though they include the 2 best teams for the first time. I am assuming that the loser of the CCG at least gets a home game to play for their troubles.

No they're not. Everyone is jumping on MIzzou's bandwagon because they happen to beat an OSU team where all of their star of their players had opted out. But people forget the 4 home games where Missouri barely squeaked by. Oh the games against power house programs known as Middle Tennessee, K. State, Memphis and Florida. Missouri could have just as easily finished 7-6 last year.

They'll do well again because their early season schedule is TRASH, but Missouri is a Paper Tiger.

I'm curious what sensible LSU fans are predicting for this season.

So I was prepared to answer honestly, but then I read the rest of your post.

Remember when they picked LSU to finish last in the SEC in Kelly's first year and they won the west?

Lonnie Utah- you’ve lost the narrative, ooc doesn’t matter (as long as you win them all) when you play a meatgrinder SEC schedule. 6-2 in conf is pretty damned good.

Last year was the year if we only had an above average defense. Not sure what to expect this year?

An average defense and lsu wins another ship easily.

They had a historically bad defense last year. It was pathetic and a crime to field a defense that bad.

And I’m not worried about the offense. O line is one of the best in the country. The starting running back is better than the two he’s replacing by far and a 4th year qb with a legit nfl arm.
