There used to be a ratchet arse restaurant on the north side of Sardis called Holiday Lodge that I loved. It mysteriously went out of business before covid. I think what actually happened is becoming obvious: Kiffin bought the restaurant straight up and he has been eating 16 whole catfish every day and lays on the shores of Sardis passed out and tanning between catfish meals

Shift over to The Pier Steak and Seafood; i hope it survived CV 19. It looks like a dive because it is one, but the food is surprisingly delicious. It is right next to the Sardis Volunteer fire department on South end of Sardis lake.
Steaks are incredible. You will not get the ambiance of Como steakhouse in the area (nor the inflated prices for otherwise okay steaks), but everything else about the flavor, price and options is better. It is another Fri and Sat night only establishment. Get there early as everything is fresh and made to order, and the pre-VFD Bingo night blue hairs will beat you there and eat up the entire nights supply of steak and oysters.
They typically have a lot of specials (or at least used to). $1 nights: canned beer nights, per oyster (raw or cooked to order... their oysters Rockefeller are awesome). Good steak and seafood deal. Not bad at all. It was a once a month place when I lived there. Hope it hasn't closed or turned to schit.

How did I not know about this place?
South side of the lake is a further journey for me but if it’s good I will go and go often

Forget the six feet apart comment above, Leach is the only dumbass in the photo that is wearing his mask wrong. Doesn't do any good UNDER your nose, dipshit!
