ESPN didn't sign that contract because of Ole Miss, Tennessee, etc

You’re right, but daddy Texas isn’t going anywhere.

SECUT

There is also clearly language in the contract with considerations to members changing

The last ESPN contract with the SEC was renewed in 2020. Do you think they signed it because of a 5-5 LSU team? lol

You honestly think that if the SEC replaced LSU with a team like Miami, ESPN would even skip a beat?

They don't give a shite about any of us, it's about marketing and brands.

And how much is a brand worth outside of a major conference?

Heh.

After the SEC's bizarre change in behavior, I'm about ready for Tigervision to make a comeback.

The SEC has flat-out turned into an effeminate mess- all because of that big bully Lane!

They signed it because LSU , Bama, and Georgia win championships. Unlike Oxfart !

They are breaching the current agreement, and unless they can find an adequate replacement that can be demonstrated to provide equal value to LSU, the shitheads at ESPN could have a case and force a reduction in the money per school, especially seeing as they would lose a TV market, even if small.

Did UGA or Bama draw 10,000,000 viewers for their openers?

Interesting, didn't know this. Which clause(s) are they breaching?

daddy Texas

Hasn’t won anything significant in 20+ years and still won’t even without LSU in the conference.

For all we know, LSU could be on the verge of breaching a contract.

If they get expelled, ESPN might sue LSU for loss of revenue.

One thing is common in all of this with ESPN. ESPN loves SEC Football period. They want the league, the schools are harder to replace, a sour conference commissioner is very easy to replace. Money talks and bullshite walks, Sankey is dealing bullshite.

You do know that LSU has the same amount of Naty's as Georgia, more Heisman winners, same amount of All American's, and almost as many SEC titles. So, LSU is likely a reason why the SEC is appealing.....

But I am ok with you mentioning Bama.....

Underrated take here...

This is MUCH more likely to happen.
