They are not SEC. 10 years from now…maybe. Probably not.

Why would you pull for any SEC team?

You can’t pull your pud for Texas yet, but in ten years you might be able to? You SEC folk have some strange habits.

You shouldn't be pulling for Texas if you're not a Texas fan.

And happy to always remain an outsider/newbie.

There are only a couple of teams I dislike more than the 4 in the semis. I'll watch but have no interest in any of them winning. Don't like Arizona State but found myself pulling for them.

They really do. Takes 10 years to “be in the conference”?

Some people are dumb.

There ARE some benefits to SEC teams winning and doing well. SEC stays dominate and it may give another SEC team the benefit of a doubt and sneak one in at the 12th spot eventually.

But overall i only pull for another SEC team if i feel it benefits Ole Miss in some way shape or form.

For the most part SEC teams doing well doesnt benefit Ole Miss.

And people that dont understand that and pull for SEC due to them being SEC alone is a dumb concept.

Texas came in and took your seat at the head of the table in year 1. THATS WHY YOU CANT PULL FOR YHEM. Bama decline is real.

I don't play. How does who I pull far effect the outcome of the game?

Aw schucks

And to think, this time of year your only choice is to sit around and watch someone else's team.

So sad it won't be Texas, but it's probably for the best. Bad luck rubs off you know?

Esp bama and LSU

I’m an Lsu fan . I have no problem with Texas or pulling for them. Quit painting with a broad brush. As an Lsu fan we have had a deep rooted hate for Bama my entire life long before Saban ever got to Bama. Their fans are the most arrogant POS , and that makes it impossible for many of us to ever tote the SEC support flag for them. Maybe the OP was right about the 10 year timeframe, but for me it’s not about when I can pull for Texas. It’s when I stop.

I mean seriously. Why would any LSU fan hate Texas at this point? We don’t have any big history with you. Hopefully the Texas fans don’t replicate the bama fans. Oh and frick AGGIE so we already have that in common.
