Can't imagine how painful it is to be an Auburn fan right now

I'd almost rather be 4-8 with no SEC wins and optimism with a new coach coming in after he wins a natty with his current team, than to at one point beat the 2 teams currently in the natty only to have my season end by losing to a non-power 5 team and giving my mediocre coach 49 mil.

Thoughts?

that's why you are Tennessee

it's not painful. I don't know why other fans want us to be miserable so bad

look at it this way - auburn fans will have the joy of either UGA or bama having their hopes and dreams crushed

Obvious as day this is just a troll but no you don't. This is a losers mentality.

A loser doesn't want to risk it all for glory because the possibility of pain.
Losers troll good teams because of a little failure because their team has much more failure.

You think we’d rather a 4 win season over a 10 win season with victories over Georgia and Alabama?

I feel bad for Jeremy Pruitt.

I will say I don't get the "pile on Auburn" mentality of the rant this week.

Auburn very well could have lost to both Georgia and Alabama. They would have finished 8-4 on the season and probably gone to the Outback Bowl or someplace like that. They would have watched Alabama-Georgia play for SEC Championship and in all likelihood both would still have made the playoff.

Georgia and Bama would likely still be in this same position had Auburn lost their two big games.

At least Auburn has the satisfaction of knowing they beat both teams playing for the National Title.... nobody else was able to beat Georgia or Bama this year.

The most painful thing is that Saban and Smart knew they could both drop meaningless games to Auburn, so Auburn would be forced to keep their high school head coach.

Yea, I'd be lying if I didn't say it gives me a slight chuckle thinking about Auburn right now, but not much more than that. We played a game and they beat us. I have a hard time talking any shite to a team that beat us (and beat us pretty good).

I also vividly remember 1997 and 2004 and how awful it was watching my 2 hated rivals play in the SECCG and knowing 1 would win. It definitely sucked.

You should not test your product so much.

A 10rc fan going after Arkansas's relevance this morning, and Auburn's this afternoon makes about as much sense as the toenail on my penis.
