Our pain pales in comparison to what it must have felt like to be a Vols fan the last 10 years or so.

I can't imagine how painful it is to be a UT fan. You have been irrelevant for over a decade. If every possible thing goes your way...........you will still be irrelevant for another 6-8 years.

I agree to some degree that all some AU fans care about is beating Bama which is pathetic. AU is divided into halves. Pre Dye and Dye. The pre dye half are the morons that consider a 1-11 season with a win over Alabama a success. The Dye or post Dye AU fans consider anything less than getting to Atlanta a failure and depending on results in game and bowl. This season, for example, ended up as a failure to me.

Auburn had a respectable season and beat half of the teams in the playoff and lost by -8 to another........unlike UT which hasn't sniffed a season like AU had in a decade

I wouldn't call it painful. It was frustrating losing the SECG, but shite, we had to beat the two teams playing for the national championship to get there and we did. Sucks we ran out of gas and we had so many turnovers in the SECG.
The UCF game was a joke. I never considered buying tickets, just wanted it over with and to focus on next year.
I for one am looking forward to beating the shite out of Tennesse on October 13th.
