This is not rocket science, folks. It would solve the issue of this trainwreck of a season.

Adding more games solves the issues in a season where we can barely get games in?

The playoff will be expanded in the next few years. That is going to happen

Season is only a trainwreck for the conferences that decided in July they weren't going to play and then backtracked late, expecting to be able to get a decent season played in two months or less. There have been some issues but the conferences that started in September have been able to work through this pretty well.

Finally some bama fans speaking the truth that this season doesn't really count. Enjoy your *natty*

An undefeated, 13-0 season by Bama would be more impressive than what LSU did last year. 11 SEC wins to LSU's 9. Congrats on beating Georgia Southern and Northwestern State, though.

But at least Georgia is in the conversation. The Aubies, not so much.

It is. The problem would be if it turned out well and schools pushed for that format for other years besides this. It would be the death of conferences.

It's pretty amazing that the NBA and MLB rearranged their playoff structures to account for the reality of shortened seasons, but college football can't seem to figure out that identifying the best 4 teams is pretty much impossible based on the widely divergent resumes.

We hardly have any out of conference games to even judge relative conference strength. Well, except for the fact that the Sun Belt owns the Big12.

Absolute train wreck of a season.

Nobody can honestly say this season is a meaningful one.
