Dude is without a doubt the worst analyst on ESPN right now. On top of the image I am posting below, Pollack also has shitty sources as he reported multiple times that Sarkisian had turned the Texas job down.

In that case cancel every media talking head that has made a wrong prediction. You'd be left with exactly zero of em

They get paid to produce content. They always need people with contrarian opinions otherwise it gets stale.

He just the guy that has to say the dumb shite for parody. No one would watch ESPN if they constantly said “Bama will win clearly” every year.

He’s still better than Desmond Howard, Joey Galloway, and Tim Tebow.

He's a pretty face on screen. That's why he's there. Here's a hint for ya, if someone is on ESPN and is average to below average looking, then they're probably really good at their job. Everybody else is there just to look good. The people that hire these people don't know enough about sports to know if the person they're hiring knows sports.

Such is the new trend at ESPN. All these new SEC personalities and even some of the old guys are trying to stand out by making controversial statements. Des Howard has said some dumb shite that I can’t even remember right now. Jordan Palmer all but named Bama the best team ever before last night’s game was played. Dan Orlovsky said LSU should start Finley over Myles Brennan after his win against South Carolina. Can’t possibly deliver consistent performance for 10-15 years like Herbie did to get a great gig, so they all just blab at the mouth to get clicks and listens.

Ill take Pollack over any of the other losers ..Tebow is like 30-40% female chromosomes, Desmond Howard is borderline illiterate , poor Lee Corso should be called Lee CorpseO now ... Herbstreit better lay off the tanning or hes going look like Trump in a few yrs ...

Rece is the smart man.

Desmond is the everyman.

Pollack is the dumb man.

They all cater to certain segments of the audience.

Pre-show production meetings probably go like this:

Producer: "Who's going to take the dumb opposite position on this? David-it's you, again."

David: "Where do I cash my paycheck?"

I don't have any problem with him taking a position. The only way to never end up with these egg on your face situations is to never take strong positions. And to always be like: "Oh x is a great player. It will be tough for his team to replace him. The other guys will have to step up. We'll see if they are up to the task." That's boring as shite however. We all already know that.
