TheirnOL was actually not up to typical LSU standards. Clyde and Burrow really carried that offense. Clyde was the unsung hero in my opinion. Without his ability to run the football Burrow would have been successful he’s great but not as successful as he was.

They had a once in a lifetime great offense, but the defense was and still is below average. They gave 38 to Vandy and 37 to Ole Miss in 19.

Sure, it was a fluke for O, but that team 100% earned that title and were incredibly deserving champions.
