I think this is the biggest question for Alabama. Clemson will be back in the big dance as they have the best QB in the country and one of the best RBs, second best receiving corp, and a really good O line. Defense is irrelevant in the ACC, but it was good enough to expose Tua last year.

I think Tua will have a solid year, but not quite as good as last year.

He is very injury prone. If he were to go down for any reason, it very well could be a long year for Bama. I cant name the second string.

A long year for Bama is two losses max.

I'm not trolling. This is just the first year in recent memory that I dont know anything about your backup. Feels like hurts was there forever.

That's b.s. He wasn't injured the first time his freshman season and he played quite a lot.

Last season he sustained an injury vs Arkansas and was told he could play and not injure it more (but was obviously painful enough he had to go into the tent occasionally for a shot of whatever they use these days), but the only thing that would heal it was time off. The ankle injury vs UGA in the title game was scoped 2 days later.

Still, playing with a gimpy leg half the season, he set the all time ncaa passing efficiency record, so it's not unreasonable to expect an even better season this year.

Mac is a really cerebral guy. Brings his lunch pail to the field. Student of the game. High motor.

With all of our receivers having a solid year under their belt with Tua being the guy and two great backs gone, Tua not having a better year in terms of passing yards would be a disappointment.

Offense will not be a problem this year. They returned everyone except Damien Harris and Josh Jacobs. Tua will break records again and be in New York at the end of the season. Bama will return to a slightly more traditional offense this season and less RPO.

He has the best WR core I've seen in a long time. I think he will be fine

You're going to have to queue me in on how he was exposed exactly...pressure on the QB is the great neutralizer. No QB is immune to it. If you watch the tape Tua was still throwing darts out there. The arm talent is undeniable and the accuracy is otherworldly.

If Tua has time to throw then he will pick apart any defense.

I think Tua will break some sec passing records this year. Accurate qb and a great wr corps. If he gets the protection he needs, then will likely finish his college career never losing a conference game he started.

Two injuries. Sprained knee and high ankle sprain. Injuries happen...if he gets hurt this year then you can all go for it.

He's never missed a start regardless.

As previously noted, he broke the all time ncaa record for passing efficiency last year, playing the last half of the season on an injured leg. So yeah. I expect even more qb records this year.
