It's what's called loading your glove. You can take it from there.

I believe you are correct. Desperate times call for desperate measures…

He's drawing up plays in the dirt for his team to run, but the manager never listens to his ideas. Which makes him feel sad and less valued. Bad situation all the way around!

Went back and rewatched the 8th and 9th:
- Mracna threw almost exclusively fastballs and change ups. If there was a curve anywhere in there I didn’t see it or he botched the throw
- he was sitting 92-95 which has been his average all season. So if he was using a sticky substance, it wasn’t for velocity on his fastball and it wasn’t for a breaking pitch (he didn’t throw one)
- the 6 A&M strikeout pitches were:
1. Swing and a miss on a 95 mph fastball that was up
2. Watching a 94 mph fastball go down the middle
3. Swing and a miss on a 95 mph fastball that was up
4. Swing and a miss on a 92 mph fastball that was up
5. Called checked swing on a 94 mph fastball inside
6. Swing and a miss on 95 up and out
Feel free to rewatch and check me on any of this but he just pitched 2 good innings (which has been his norm all year; we had him as starter first half of the season and he was usually good until the 3rd/4th when he started getting wild and missing spots and getting shelled as a result)
