I fricking hate it so much.

They just don't seem to care, until they get an opponent that moves the needle, then it's hell, fire and damnation released from the heavens or some shite, I don't know. It's like Kirby saves his best sermons for certain games and they come out of the tunnel like the other team is trying to frick their sister.

Then the next game is like yawn, this football thing is boring.

The UGA team feeds off the fans.

High school environments seem to get high school results.

I didn't catch the Kentucky game live (saw a replay last night). I'm not sure why we were running so much of our 2nd Team OL. I'm not sure if it was to get guys attention or if there are a lot of nic's that we are overcoming in game.

We feed off exciting opponents/environments. It’s also strategy. 4d chess.

IMO, this is, at least, part of it. Kirby even acknowledges this in interviews. This year, Kirby has allowed for the offense to open up more under Stetson and Monken, perhaps out of design, perhaps out of necessity, and this has, possibly, caused a lot of folk to forget their former criticism of Kirby: conservative.

There have been certain games and situations, this year, that I've noticed a change up in play calling, before and during games. UT when the rain started, UK before it even began. Kirby even stated that they knew, going in, that there would be fewer possessions against UK, and with the weather being cold, old Kirby (tough, physical, trench warfare) came shining through.

Now, perhaps there are other reasons, but I suspect that Kirby is telling the truth in his interviews.

It’s big game experience. Georgia players and coaches have seen it all. National Championship games, playoff games, SEC championship games…they know what it takes to get there and what it takes to win there.

They know how to take a team like Kentucky seriously and take care of business while also not blowing their wad when they don’t really need it.

It’s like sex. Eventually, with time and experience, you learn how to dish it out while holding your load until it’s the right time.

I think we just play bad and could get burned by it. Don't think it is strategy at all.

It’s true we usually lose one or two a year, but how often does that happen to bad or mediocre teams? What do you define as shitting the bed?

If we’re talking about losing to teams like Kentucky, we’ve only had one of those in the last six seasons (2019 USCe)

All of our losses other than that have come to Bama, Joe Burrow, 2020 Florida and a Sugar Bowl against Texas where we had a bunch of opt-outs and generally didn’t give a shite.

The difference with South Carolina in back-to-back weeks against Florida and Tennessee was insane.

Good possibility of being 24-0 in regular season games past 2 seasons is doing a'ight IMO.

we just became only the 3rd team/program ever to go back to back undefeated in SEC play since divisions began 30 years ago. If we're considered bed shitters, I'd hate to hear the description of what the rest of the league is

While the margin wasn't huge, the UK game was never in doubt. Why give a good staff like LSU's more film to study when you can win with vanilla? UGA has proven it can ramp it up when needed.
