They don't let in players that wear dresses. Rule 101b section 2.

Joe Burrow was a better pure passer than Cam but he also had much better weapons around him. Cam pretty much loaded Auburn on his back and carried them to an SEC and BCS title. He is a giant douche but was a terrific college QB.

College Football Hall of Fame Requirements

Not saying he doesn’t meet them. Just posting this for context.

I thought so too. You only need a single consensus all American as far as play goes really.

That’s so crazy. He was one of the best college players ever.

I think his not diving on the fumble still haunts him. . .even with the CFB HoF

I pulled for him until that

I think most bailed on him after that

The fricking Super Bowl, and you won't?

What?

An L3U fan only has 2019. As time goes on, the worse a look this is.

2001 SEC Champs
2003 SEC & BCS Natl Champs
2007 SEC & BCS Natl Champs
2011 SEC Champs
2019 SEC & CFP Natl Champs

Other than Alabama and Ohio State, who 3 or more National titles in that time frame?

Stats really aren't that amazing. Wasn't even a 3,000 yard passer.

Media is disproportionately northeast and west coast based. They hate the SEC, and the south for that matter. I know I’m preaching to the choir, but that can’t be reiterated enough.

We did ruin Alabama's season in 2022, so that's nice. Friendly reminder that Nick Saban lost the first and last games he ever coached in Tiger Stadium.

I thought for sure the other poster was exaggerating by minimizing LSU’s accomplishments, but now that I see this depressing af list of “accomplishments” is the rebuttal…I guess he was right. Yikes.

He had the one great season, no doubt. But the reason he was at Auburn to start with is because he stole the laptop while at Florida.

If not for that, he probably wins a NC at Florida gets in and Urban Meyer doesn't have health issues. But it did, and then that entire season was controversial due to his dad getting paid. The NCAA had to create a rule just to deal with it.

Those things are likely holding him back.
