You got destroyed in the last thread talking about LSU's offenses under Miles and tucked your tail.

LOL funny I had several LSU fans in agreement with me and a ton of rantards like yourself, with your head in the sand, disagreeing. Keep it up though.

In his last 125 games as an NFL offensive coordinator, the teams Cameron was a part of in San Diego and Baltimore lost a total of only eight games by more than seven points.

that stat is as much on the DC than Cameron

GC, come on. You're talking about a team with LT, Antonio Gates, Vincent Jackson, Brees/Rivers, Chris Chambers, Darren Sproles, etc..

LULZ Brees and Chambers were most certainly not on the Chargers '06 roster and Sproles sat out the entire season on IR.

I'm not saying coaching is easy by any means, but to use that stat as the reason it's a good hire is ignoring a lot. I may end up being completely wrong but I just don't believe he's going to do what LSU fans hope he does.

What do you think we hope he does? No one is saying we'll be an offensive powerhouse. Just that our QBs wont look lost and our playcalling so predictable now. Getting us OUT of the bottom half of the offensive CFB world.

You're fricking kidding I hope. Dude turned 2 mediocre QBs, Gus Frerotte and Trent Green, in to Pro Bowlers.

By far his best coaching job. I'll give him credit for that in '96, but I disagree that Trent Green was a mediocre QB when he was in the league.

I'm talking present, if you watch NC State Rivers and San Diego Rivers he plays almost the same. Cam hasn't really developed QBs since early 2000. I'm only saying this because I watched him Chargers-Dolphins-Ravens. Admittingly, the QBs he had to work with in Miami were John Beck and Cleo Lemon, nothing he could do there.

My point is I just don't think he will provide fans what they expect. It's sort of similar to David Lee - Romo (even though Cameron has a much longer track record). And like I said, I may be completely wrong but I wouldn't be that giddy about getting Cameron.

You say this when his most recent project just won the Super Bowl.

We will see, I guess. I tend to think he will have a bigger impact on LSU QB's than you're saying.

All I'm gonna say is he can't be worse than stud up there eating bar b que and miles eating grass calling fullback dives and shite.

most lsu fans - great hire.
most opposing fans - awful hire.

my guess is it will be somewhere in the middle. if, big if, miles lets him have control of the offense i can see them improving. they can hardly get worse. so go from the 80s in offense to the 40s. and at lsu that potentially could be enough if a couple of things fall their way in a given year.

I wouldnt say #10 is a whole tier above it. And I was just merely pointing out top 10 or 16 is a great stat, but not when its a class of 32

LOL @ anyone thinking this anything but a huge step up from our OC who had our offenses in the bottom third of CFB the last 2 years.

seems familar to LSU fans last year with another supposed upgrade. All I am saying is wait till he produces on the field until claiming an "upgrade" and getting your hopes up

Do you have ANY clue where we're coming from? An OL coach has been our OC the last 2 season and we've been in the bottom 1/3 of CFB in offense. Cam Cameron is a GIGANTIC upgrade.

Drew Brees himself gives a lot of credit to Cameron. You don't know what you're talking about. Let that sink in.

I've read those comments, I've known about them for a while. I'm also done trying to talk about this when 3 pages happen before I can respond again. By all means, go be excited LSU fans. I've already stated that I don't think the end result will be what you were hoping, and I've already stated I may be dead wrong.

Whatever, have fun and be happy.
