Yes, thankfully he stated to the reporter that he was still willing to root for his son.

at least good parents would anyway.

"Auburn only has two (Onterio McCalebb and Mike Dyer) at running back, plus (commitment) Tre Mason and a walk-on. I know for a fact competing there would be easier."

Maybe he knows he takes the easy way out and was trying to toughen him up. And evidentally, they had talked privately and Calloway went against the decision they talked about.

So he should listen to his adopted Dad and go to Bammer, but Cam should tell his dad to stay away, even in the NFL. So If he flips back to Bammer can we say his dad had a deal?

Why are you answering your own question? Well maybe because you're mad, maybe that's why.

LOL Auburn fans would be praising him for trying to teach his son the right way to do things if the shoe was on the other foot.

And we'd be bitching about him.

Listening to his dad's advice and going to a school because his father was POSSIBLY paid, in Cam's case, are two different things.

I don't have a problem with a father not agreeing with a son's decision and voicing that. I do think it's low-rent to go to a fricking reporter and bang on your son, but "still be willing to root for him". This is the son's time, shut your mouth and stay in the background.

This would work coming from anyone but an AU fan.

Can we start a list of kids parents and grandparents who have complained about Trooper Luper? I know Greg Robinson, Marcus Lattimore, Brent Calloway.....

What the hell does a father hugging his son have to do with running to a reporter about family grievances?

I don't wish a father to be away from his son but Cecil made it to where he, allegedly, wasn't supposed to be around. But he did it anyway, taking some of the spotlight away from his son and the entire football program.
