LSU vs. Texas in the SEC Championship game.

After yesterday's performances it's clear Texas is the SEC's top team, and will handle beat Georgia next week.
Bama is too inconsistent and plays LSU, Oklahoma and Tennessee on the road.
LSU's OT victory over Ole Miss was the spark that the Tigers could use to sweep the rest of their schedule.

Thoughts?

Pete Golding has a way of doing that.

LSU going to Arkansas and A&M will both be tough. Right now that's scarier than Bama and Oklahoma at home

Too early to say. These next few weeks they have:

@ Arkansas
@ A&M
Alabama
@ Florida

If they go 3-1 in that stretch they’ll probably be in Atlanta. That’s a tall order. 2-2 or 1-3 seems more likely.

LSU and Bama are ironically very similar this year. Streaky, tough.

Our game will easily be within 3 points this year.

I'll certainly take it but I still think the Tigers are a year away. Also OM isn't as good they thought they were.

After the last couple of weeks, the only things that are clear is that Pavia is a stud and anything can happen on any Saturday. Just going to sit back and have fun watching the chaos unfold.

Texas for now is presumably the only somewhat dominant team in all of college football -- if they lose to Georgia, that goes out the window.

It's way too early to even try to predict who will finish where as every team's ability is now mostly unknowable.

Any of the teams below could be in it.

Mizzou, LSU, Oklahoma could beat Bama
Oklahoma, A&M, Arky could beat LSU

and on and on.

Whole ton of football left to be played.

I don’t think so. Just because we won that game yesterday doesn’t erase how bad the defense played in our other games.

Way too early. We will drop at least one game like everyone else. We always overreact week to week. When we beat Michigan everyone said Texas is best...then bama handled GA and everyone was penciling them in as SEC champs. At one point I was convinced Tenn was the best team in the country.
Way too much football left to be played. GA can absolutely come in and beat us if our offense plays like it did yesterday.

I wish.

That Arkansas game always sneaks up on LSU after a big emotional game.

Les could never get the team up for it.
BK barely got the W after the home win against Bama 2 years ago.

Arkansas is tough for a soft team like LSU. They also have Vandy in the schedule

I am a believer in LSU as well. They can score from any spot on the field. Those two RB's are really good.

The defense bent some but wouldn't allow Ole Miss to put the game away.

The off week good for them.

Pack you work lunch kit when you play LSU.

JMO but I believe Kelly believes he has what he needs to be very successful going forward this season.
