That sounds like Eric Musselman. He doesn't stay at any place longer than five years.

He would probably leave for Texas.

It’s a solid strategy in general. Leave while people will still miss you.

Football will always be king in College Station. With revenue sharing coming this summer, the Aggies are going to dump a very large share of that money into football. That may have pushed him to make a decision to go to Maryland because basketball just isn't as big of a priority for them as football.

In before someone says “but Alabama” without knowing that Alabama has historically been one of the better SEC basketball programs.

I loved the defensive effort but I would like to see an actual offensive system or players that can shoot at a decent clip.

There was an ESPN article on him after he left Marquette for VT where he said he never wants to wear out his welcome and get fired. He’s very OCD but a good leader of young men.

Dunno but him leaving isn't the end of the world. I hope the next coach at least has a more interesting offense b/c Buzz ball wasn't exactly aesthetically pleasing.

Seems odd that Buzz would choose to go to Maryland when Wiilard publicly complained about NIL support when bailing for Villanova?

Maryland was willing to increase its rev share for basketball to be second in the conference, behind Indiana. This was while they were trying to renegotiate Willard’s contract.

Good luck to him. Haven't heard any Aggies mourning his departure.
