Van Jefferson was a 4* and couldn't make it at ole miss. he was one of our best receivers last year.

They won one relatively recently. They beat Mullen like a drum, actually.

Van was really good at ole miss. Remind me to remember that you are either clueless or dishonest.

For a stretch, Pitts was the closest thing to a go-to receiver and he is back. Trask spreads the ball around and there is still plenty of talent at the receiver position. Biggest loss was Perine's pass-catching. Let's see if one of the backs can take over.

Overall, with a more experienced line with better depth, I don't see the offensive production suffering from last year, especially if a run game can be established.

I'm a little nervous about the defensive side of the ball, though.

Then why does GT do better recruiting running backs? The comment was in reference to recruiting high schoolers. Do better keeping honesty in the discussion.

I've seen 2 dishonest posts in this thread alone. Most likely, he is a dishonest troll.

He didnt do much at Ole Miss, they had a deep WR core at the time. He would have obviously become a starter at some point because of how talented he was.

A transfer just won the Heisman, and two others were in New York. Are we really keeping up the transfers aren't good argument?

I'm with you.

I don't think the heisman voting is a good argument. Every transfer needs to stand on his own merit.

That said...

UGA has had very good success with transfers under Kirby. It is fair to expect every team to be excited (Florida is signing former 5 stars. Of course you should be excited).

Ole miss:

91 catches in 22 games.

Florida:

84 catches in 26 games.

Very different from a transfer that hasn’t done much of anything. Not all transfers are the same deal.

He was very good at Ole Miss and only left due to all the Freeze shite. In 2 years he had 91 catches for 999 yards.
He was also behind Metcalf and AJ Brown those two years so it’s not like he wasn’t the main guy due to talent.

Shorter on the other hand did literally nothing at Penn State.

Surely you can spot the difference

Yea, Van Jefferson's transfer and Shorter's transfer are nothing alike.

Easy schedule...season will come down to WLOCP but UK could be a test early and obviously a tough one with LSU.

Nobody better sleep on the Vols. The Vols need to be shown no mercy like UGA was under Goff, Donnan and Richt...cause the Vols may be down but their potential has been proven time and again....better not nobody take a week off when the Vols are on the schedule. I know many of you will dismiss that out of hand but UT is close in my opinion.

UF also....the SEC east is no cake walk like the west wants to pretend it is....yes, UT is down but showing signs of life the bastards and UF has been down but is going to be a tough out for any and all....

I will say this....if UF doesn't get over the UGA hump this season it may be a while before they do...and the same can be said for UGA....if UGA don't get over the NT hump it is going to increase the pressure on Smart and company. Very important season which could be program changing for either team, an not in a good way....neither coach is fired this year but the pressure will be far greater if neither get over their respective humps

It really hasn't other than Fulmer's run.

Switching UT with AU was an incredibly stupid on our part.We gave UT breathing room in their early SEC schedule. They usually had us and UF back to back or 2 times in 3 weeks.Itll catch up to us but not this year.

Sorry, just don't get NC or bust scenerio for Kirby.

He has grit and guts, unlike Felipe Franks. And unlike Fromm and Mond btw.
