Remind me not to stick up for you on the Gator board.

I am personally hoping for a year like Tennessee had in 1998. Luck up and win against all the good teams by way of miracle.

I will also take some bad calls by the refs, and wouldn't mind having to reschedule a game or two due to weather since some of the dumber teams get all rustled over it. We all know you can't play football rustled.

I think they’ll be good again. 10-2 regular season, competitive loss in Jacksonville, a year of threads about how Mullen is a better game day coach than Kirby, etc.

Trask is a good QB but people are ignoring the fact that his arm strength is something that holds the offense back.

What the heck?

I still think they go 10-2 or 11-1 but it's UFMutt trying to talk shite again

Buying. 11 wins is not out of the question. Everyone has lost somebody. Barring injuries, I see Florida having the upper hand on almost their entire schedule. The program has the talent and I think Mullen's offensive focus is a good fit at the moment.

The LSU fans in this thread are very knowledgeable.
The UGA fans not so much. But, what do you expect? Unless they're over the age of 50, they wouldn't even remember their team winning a National Championship.

Gotcha. So why didn't they buy into Florida the last few seasons, if it's only to make money?

Beat Michigan’s second string and a 4 loss UVA team in the lower tier NY6 options. Congrats?

It's about being there more than just winning them. Mullen is 21-5 at UF, 3-3 vs Top ten teams in that time, despite having less overall roster talent than those teams. Now the talent is adding up to a more even level.

I don’t think recent recruiting rankings support that Mullen now has more than he did the past two seasons but ok quote:

It does. You are just to lazy to actually do a remote bit of research.

Oh so 3rd and Grantham has returned along with whomever gave the offense the wrong playcall wristbands for the WLOCP last year? Cool.

Yep. Pretty much anywhere you look Grantham is top 3 in the SEC, and Mullen is either first or second. You disagreeing doesn't make it reality. I'll stick with people paid to do it and Vegas though. You stick with blind hatred. It will work well for you.

You do know what Vegas’ ultimate goal is, right?

To get bets as evenly as possible on both sides of a bet. Name the last time Florida was this highly favored. Once again. You just want it to not be true. Doesn't mean it isn't.

Good thing we don’t play Florida until 9 weeks into the season, then.

Nope. But when do you play Bama? You'll have to go the rest of the season perfect after that sure loss. Good luck.

Defense is going to weaker too, losing Zuniga and Grenard are bigger losses than you know.

Zuniga hardly played last season. He only played in 5 games, due to injury.

Yeah, because winning national championships makes the fan base more knowledgeable.

Tons of websites bought into the UF hype last year.

Nice twist on this. But like I told you guys when he was hired at UF. He'll let you down in the big games just like he did at all of his other stops.

Maybe, but I do know not winning one for 40 years, makes you a huge embarrassment.

You should know all about that since it took UF the over 100 years to win their first one.

I’d trade it taking 100 years to win our first natty for 3 in the last 23 years over winning 1 in the first 100 years of your program and zero in the last 40.

Hold. I need to see this year's team play before I make any long term calls. The schedule is very manageable but they have a couple of games they could easily slip on a banana peel and lose.

The East is a bit shaky this year. So is the West for that matter. So Florida should be able to just roll out on the field and over power folks for most of their games.

I think, unless the wheels completely come off, they win at least ten games this year. So they are a blue chip stock but not necessarily one you think is going to be the market leader. It is, however, obvious that Mullen is an upgrade over the shark humper. The big question is can he get by LSU and Georgia?

Don't forget that Mizzou won the east division two times since joining the SEC!

Buying. The only thing holding them back from being NC caliber has been recruiting, but that’s starting to look better too.

They aren’t there yet, but going in the right direction.
