Probably need to update the unsportsmanlike behavior section of the rulebook so an ump can override and allow the next inning.

Sure we have the bats, but Early would have found a way to frick it up.
I love how is is in autopilot and not trying to win games, then comes out at the end of the game like he cares all of a sudden.

Because in theory the players are still student athletes and the SEC doesn’t want the away team arriving back home at 1 am when some of the players have 8 am Monday morning classes.

I almost feel bad for Earley. Guy looks like a complete clown. Hopefully Schloss can rehab his career when he gets paid to leave a&m.

The travel rule sucks but it’s nothing new and has been around for years.

Most SEC teams charter flights these days. It's kind of an archaic rule from when they didn't charter flights. We've had plenty of games called early over the years over the curfew rule and it's been annoying every single time.

Should have started the game at 11:00AM or earlier to all but ensure the game gets played in its entirety.

I recall Texas doing this in the third game of a three-game series with LSU in Austin in 1998. The teams split the first two games, and Texas won the third game 7-5 when it was called after eight innings. Aferward, a reporter asked Skip Bertman what he thought about Texas stalling in the bottom of the eighth. He said he understood why they did it. He also said it wasn't something he would do, but he understood why Texas did it.
