Burton’s action don’t reflect on the Alabama program, staff, fans or other players…at least in my opinion. They reflect badly on him alone. Now spreading rumors about the person he struck/pushed/whatever and coming up with various defenses for his actions, that reflects poorly on certain people. Not punishing him may also reflect poorly on certain people, but we aren’t there yet.

The players can do what they want to the rest of society unless they play bad. Then toss them off the team and into jail or something.

And that was wrong too.

A POS had the sads because his team lost a game. The man-child reacted by hitting a young girl who was walking near him. If Saban has an ounce of moral fiber, he'll kick this shitbird off the team. I don't have any faith in this happening, because winning games is way more important that doing the right thing. The irony is, the fans are even worse. These are the people who rountinely shoot at their neighbors house, shoot their on fans because they aren't upset as much as they should be following a loss, poison trees, break their own TVs, and run over opposing fans.

The point is if a crazy person can sneak a smoke bomb into an NFL stadium a Tennessee fan could easily sneak something into Neyland.

Dude, it was after the game. Burton didn’t know what the other 40,000 on the field had either. It’s almost like he knew their intent was to celebrate, but he was a pussy bitch and decided to hit someone because he can’t check his emotions.

What he did was wrong. However when a fan steps on a field the players have a right to be concerned. Was he in any danger? Likely not. However, we just saw a man about her same size run onto the 49ers field on Monday night football with a smoke bomb.

Talk about spin.

The girl in question has deleted the video, marked her ticktock as private and she has refused any interviews. Now why would someone who didn’t instigate this do all of that?

Don’t walk on property that you don’t own or know who owns it dude because you obviously don’t understand what trespassing is.

This dumbass thinks it’s against the law to go on a football field after a game. That’s not a law. If so, please direct me to where I can find it on the books.

If only Burton had ran off the field and cried on mommy's shoulder, aka AJ McCarron after the IB loss, this wouldn't have ever happened.

Just watched both videos. Looks like Burton swipes at both. Pretty tame stuff. Can’t believe this has generated so much debate.

Social media is your answer.

I agree, this wasn’t some brutal or savage attack. I think gumps like OP defending the heroes they worship is even sadder. Unfortunately, the player will get away with it, because the modern athlete is coddled. I won’t be surprised when he does more dumb shite in the near future.

EVEN IF THERE WAS some sort of trespassing law with the case law to back it up (when it comes to fans rushing the field being prosecuted for trespassing), Burton had no right to dole out the punishment himself. Not only that, the punishment for trespassing isn't a physical smack on the head, AND that's also after the person has their day in court to decide guilt or innocence

What do you think they arrest streakers for dumbass? It is trespassing to go onto a field without being approved to do so.

Because they value their privacy and just want the issue to be behind them? Because an attorney advised them to? Because behind the scenes a Bama booster paid her to make it go away? Those make a ton more sense than the idiotic conspiracy stuff you provided.

She wants privacy? Lol. She was clout chasing by posting the video.

That's my best Gump imitation. I'll be here all week. Tip your waitress. Try the veal.

You’re still clinging to this. Cite the law where it says you cannot storm the field postgame. A single fan in the field of play is not the same as thousands of fans after a game. You ever heard of Monica Seles?
