I'm amazed that Tennessee isn't in the top 3 every year. I thought they were basketball lovers up there.

We've made six straight NCAA Tourneys.

We just went through an 18 month NCAA investigation, fired our coach, lost 6 seniors, and lost Tobias Harris and Scotty Hopson early (who accounted for over 40% of our scoring last year).

What did you expect this year?

Where would you put them?

I think they're right where they're supposed to be but wouldn't be surprised if they move up in the coming weeks. I'd maybe put them over LSU but don't think you're wrong in where you placed them.

Playing the old Eastern Div schedule combined with some bad early losses is what will keep UT from playing in the post season. Arkansas is in the best position for the NIT followed by LSU and OM with Auburn and UT trying to find a way in. I will say that UT is playing the best ball of all the NIT hopefuls right now but they have a much more difficult path.

People are also putting a lot of stock into the last few games. If Tennessee recruits a solid point guard, Tennessee is an NCAA team next year. This year, there's just not a lot to look forward to.

i won't be surprised at all to see state in the NIT. It's one of our most talented teams ever but that doesn't mean shite in this fricked up program.

I think the talent is to much not to get in but I agree that Stans is a shitty coach. How can Moultrie not even touch the ball down the stretch yesterday? He should get on his knee's and blow Bost for bailing him out once again.

I've got to disagree with you.

Arkansas has a shot at the NCAAs if we can pull off a couple road wins out of AU, UGA, LSU, and TN. If we hold serve at home and win two of those, we may can get to 9-10 wins in SEC play. So who knows.

Getting a win at home against Michigan next Saturday can really help our resume. It also wouldn't hurt to maybe get a win @ State or @ Bama.

NCAA lock or NIT lock? No, but this young team is going to be a lot better in a couple weeks than it is right now.

We beat State by 10 last week and were up by as much as 20. Head to head means nothing to Bundy.

@home and 2 OT's. We should have done a better job down the stretch and it never gets to OT but I have no problem with him having us behind them.

eta- according to CBS OM's RPI is 58 and Auburn's is 145.

I feel confident we beat OM. Stans is like Mullen against OM, that will be the teams best performance of the year.

Unless we start playing better than we have the past couple games, we won't beat Vandy unless they just have an off day.

very true. We haven't looked good in a long time. We didn't even play good against Baylor and almost won.

My power rankings are based on the complete body of work.

Mississippi State has 2 quality wins in Alabama and West Va

Arkansas' best win is Mississippi State

Texas A&M was a quality win also. Beating Tenn was also a decent win, after seeing them play UK close and beating UF. They are not a bad team.

They've lost five of their last seven. Only lost six total but it's not as good of a win as we thought at the time.
