ETA both teams are making the tournament nearly every year instead of just the 20 and 13 times in the previous century.

You’ve got this part a little twisted.

Auburn has made the tournament 13 times total, in their entire existence, including Bruce Pearl’s tenure.

Bama had made it 20 times before Bruce was hired. Auburn had made it 8.

Hope this helps.

I don’t know about the majority but I have family members who are Alabama football fans. They had no idea until I told them. Didn’t watch a second of the tournament until last night.

Bama had a pretty weak attendance for the Final Four too.

You - “gumps crying about a final four! Delicious.”

Thread topic - Auburn can’t make it past opening weekend in the tournament

That isn’t true at all. Purdue took over the arena, but we had more there than NC State, by a wide margin.

Just reporting what I’ve heard from people there. They were surprised Bama didn’t travel better.

Bama fans lose by 16 in their first FF appearance and run to the rant to point out that their coach is far superior to Auburns coach..

smart like a tack & sharp like a book aint ya.. reading comprehension isn't your strongest area friendo, but ima feeling generous so I'll slow this down & allow you you to keep up.. sound good Corky?

a poster commented on how butthurt bama fans were.

i responded to them by quoting some examples of said butthurt behavior..

i chuckled about said comments..

i never said anything about the final four..

if you need training wheels or any further hand holding to follow along in this thread - ask someone else.

I don’t think that’s accurate at all. I even felt like we outnumbered UConn fans.

Thought they must have been saving their travel for the championship.

There were some Auburn fans there, too. That was pretty funny to see.

You tried really hard in that post for someone whose team lost to Yale. Congratulations on 2019 though - so close but at least Toomers still got rolled.

That's been my experience as well. Pat Dye said it best: "Auburn fans love Auburn. Alabama fans love Alabama football."

You people averaged less than 6,000 in basketball attendance for 50 years before Bruce Pearl showed up.

You know that, right?
