It's concerning that GA's system was unable to develop a qb to even start at Kentucky.

As time goes on this might be revealed to be Kirby's biggest weakness

Can't get a top QB

Why do you think he never played at UGA

Do you need to change your tampon?

Yup, certainly didn’t develop Bennett or Beck.

It's concerning that Clemson's system was unable to develop a qb to even win at Missouri.

Stetson Bennett developed two national championships, I think the Dawgs will be just fine.

Interesting way to look at it.

Kirby Smart has developed QB's at UGA who went on to start at Washington (Eason) and Ohio State (Fields) you know?

QB's who played at UGA under Smart have been drafted in

round 1
round 4 (x2)
round 5

One had a career end before the NFL due to concussions.

Beck will likely go in the first 3 rounds this year.

Smart isn't a QB whisperer... he's a defensive coach. But UGA's had a couple of QB's who played for them get invited to the Heisman ceremony and has had a future first round pick play for them... so I'm not sure what point you're trying to make that one of their QB's didn't pan out somewhere else.

JT Daniels didn't either and he actually played and had a lot of success at UGA. It doesn't always work when you leave a school where you were successful. Cade Mays went from a guy who was on track to be a first or second round draft pick at OT while at UGA to being a guy who was 6th round pick at Guard/Center at Tennessee. It's not always greener.

And by that metric stoops is the QB deafener.

Honestly outside of running the football we haven't really had an offense since he's been here.

Expecting Brock to be Levis or better with a way worse o line probably wasn't a good move by UK media

I think schools in the transfer portal that get a former 5-star who transfers to their school need to recognize that the operative word is "former".

There's a reason a 5-star transfers after not seeing the field much at their first stop. It's rarely because they were elite but didn't get a shot. Mostly it's because they were a miss.

if they are elite and leaving, they normally do that after one season... like Fields going from UGA to OSU or Ewers going from OSU to Texas.

I know he was Richt's qb, but that bum that plays for the Rams, he's okay.

Brock failed at Kentucky because Liam Cohen dipped for the NFL. He could have succeeded in that scheme but alas.

Yeah, I don't think Kirby will ever get over the hump and win a national championship...

Real reason Fatt Stafford left Detroit is he doesn't like playing on Thanksgiving. Can't eat that much food and throw the ball without napping midfield

For the second time.

4 OCs in 5 years I don't think has helped his situation. Rest of the team probably gave up trying to figure out what the system is this go around

Dude is terrible. If Beck had left is this really who UGA would have counted on? He had to suck in practice as well.

KSR every year is telling us how great our QB looks and how explosive the offense is. Sure. The QB is wearing a red vest and knows he won’t get hit. Plus they get clicks from excited fans.

Vandagriff isn’t decisive. He has good arm strength and is a fearless runner. He has a lousy offensive line in front of him and is in the first year of a system. He doesn’t read defenses well and holds the ball too long.

Vandagriff may hit the portal again. He may stay and beat out Cutter ( if he stays). Point is Vandagriff can still grow at UK or elsewhere. Experience is the best teacher.

But having said that, Boley has more upside.

Vandagriff is just another example of why paying NIL for overpriced QBs isn't always the answer. Seems like Kentucky needs to learn this lesson fast because that Leary guy wasnt good either. Our cheaper guy named Thorne that the whole rant declared was the worst QB in the SEC no longer looks as bad.
