with a 24 team playoff I say 1 regular OT where both teams have to go for 2 if neither wins its a tie.

This is another one of those quotes that is attributed to a bunch of different coaches...
Supposedly... A Navy coach named Eddie Erdelatz originated the quote.
Some sources even say it was older than that.
