Remanissan of when Tebow had the legendary speech after losing a game. Tebow then led the Gators to a National Championship. After watching this video of Kelly slamming his fist on the table during a press conference, it gave me chills and I was reminded of the great college QB Tebow. This boats well for LSU as Kelly may lead this team to the National title. Can't fake passion.

Denial is a real thing. People will tell themselves the most outlandish things rather than facing the truth. LSU made a bad hire but they're fans can't accept it. Kelly would have been a great hire for 80% of schools but he's not good enough for LSU's expectations

You think LSU is going to copy Florida and make a statue commemorating the press conference and put up a plaque so fans can read the transcript of this pure poetry for years to come.

A bronze water bottle with a caption reading "Their QB played better than ours."

Could be. Maybe the OP listens to a lot of the Little River Band.

I’m not sure why. To date he’s the only LSU coach that I can think of that has never shat the bed in JHS and last year he also provided the biggest arse whipping LSU has ever put on Auburn.

ETA: Forgot DiNardo was randomly undefeated in JHS

And then Tebow won a National Championship that same year. Something Ole Sippy will never accomplish during your lifetime.

Don’t watch football, do you?

He is 2-0 vs. Auburn, outscoring them 69 - 35

Todd Bowles did the exact same thing as Kelly this week. Does this mean he is leading the Bucs to a Super Bowl?
