I mean at the end of the day, it's just football really.
Everyone acts like these things are life and death. They're not.
LSU (and every other team for that matter) will play their next game. They could either win or lose. No big deal ultimately.

No. Even if his buyout were a quarter of what it is, I doubt he gets fired.
Woodward made the hire and wants to give him every chance to succeed. A lot of the problems last year and this year were explained away as defensive talent issues because of the Matt House and Brian Polian hires two years ago.
With the incoming recruiting class and 2026 bumper crop in state, the hope is the talent will be there.

All schools hv to be smarter with these contracts; it’s a travesty to say the least especially schools who live and breath football; you know what is expected walking in the door; Jimbo literally ripped A&M off like Kelly is starting to do with LSU. Many LSU fans even if silent were screaming get rid of that fraudster, becuz this sets a really bad standard for other teams and their fan base.

There should have been a clause in Kelly’s contract that if LSU loses three consecutive games by double digits, he can be fired with cause.

Kelly couldn’t win anything of note at Notre Dame who received special treatment at every turn. 
He’s not winning shite at LSU. He’s a 3 or 4 loss a season Coach in The SEC.
