BREAKING: Arkansas self-imposes bowl ban

For the 2020 season. When asked about this decision, Arkansas AD Hunter Yuracheck stated that it was due to "any future infraction" that the Arkansas program may face down the line. "We recognize that every program will make some mistakes here and there. This way we can get in front of it. We can all kind of look at the LSU situation for guidance."
In speaking of LSU, the Arkansas AD was mentioning the self-imposed bowl ban for 2020 taken on by SEC West foe LSU, in a year they would have likely missed a low-level bowl anyway due to the COVID-19 pandemic. "They (LSU) really put themselves out there with this self-imposed punishment and showed what they are made of. Seems to me if LSU can impose a fake bowl-ban then so can we."

Makes a lot of sense. A fan of three win Arkansas, who was selected for a bowl, says LSU, with 5 wins, probably wouldn't have been selected for a bowl. That's next level stupid; very impressive!!

He’s saying that LSU wouldn’t have played in the low-level bowl game and would’ve used COVID as the excuse. Nothing about not being selected
