It will get back on track eventually. They always do.

Maybe if you understood the context or meaning!! Grant never made a finalist for any of the top rated kids. He recruited "projects" and then tried to make them into basketball players. That was what I was implying!
Coming from the school that had Michael Sam on their team, maybe you shouldn't speak!!

If this is just about paying high profile recruits to get to come and play for a university, I don't get the big ruckus...this has been going on for decades. There has got to be something bigger than a Chuck Person getting a 60K loan/bribe through a guy that owns a haberdashery who got the money from a financial planner who got it through a guy at Adidas

I think the FEDS want the shoe guys. Just like with drugs, they start at the street level type. Our Pres. has said the FEDS have told him that Auburn was not the target. We just got caught up in it.

I was more curious than anything. I just didn't understand how they categorized these things. It would seem to me, that if the university wasn't levied with any sanctions it doesn't count towards a total.

I'm pretty dissapointed the REC was sloppy enough to let the FBI drag us in. There will be consequences.

It can be a major violation even though no penalties are giving. Two of Auburn’s fit in that category.
Bama fan wants to use different rules for them, bottom line is Bama has 6 major infraction cases, Auburn 7.
Now explain 1941 while critizing other schools.

1941 as in the championship? The frick does that have to do with any of this?

I think most schools are dumbfounded that it is the FEDS and not the NCAA.
I am sure most big time programs have turtles poking out about now.
I find it odd that they subpoenaed Nike and not UA yet.

Nike and Adidas are the overwhelming forces in the summer circuit. I'm not sure UA has much of a presence, especially not in comparison. They may have developed some in the last few years with Steph, but for the most part Adidas and Nike would be the major targets.

That's very true.
ETA The AAU stuff could possibly be one way the FEDS want to go in all of this also.

Yeah the only thing UA is really known for is baseball and there really isnt a problem with the money like the others from the big 3.
I have to feel Nike is the ultimate endgame for the DOJ
