Actually it makes the attorney look sleazy and you look somewhere between naiive, ignorant, and completely devoid of common sense.
Fans of every single SEC school have posted about this situation, and yet Texag7 uses this as an opportunity to troll LSU fans.
He’s not a real Aggie, he went to UH.

If you took the thugs (see Brandon Miller, Darius Miles, etc.) out of big time college athletics, you'd be left with intramural caliber sports. Universities should never have become the minor league systems for professional leagues. Most of these guys have neither the intelligence nor the inclination to make genuine academic use of their scholarships and would have never stepped onto a college campus had it not been for their athletic ability. Instead, they'd be shooting each other on the mean streets of some US city.

There are tech people who can forensically extract that kind of data from a phone. I would be interested to see if that has been done in this case.
You know damn well they didnt
Well his lawyer says that he volunteered to turn the phone over to forensics. If they haven't done it they aren't doing their job.

It’s just despicable you are more worried about Miller than the victim.
Am I doing it right?

Smart move on Miller's part to get an attorney to handle this for him. This puts the media on notice to stop defaming him.

Looks like Miller is a victim here too. His car was shot while he was in it! He could have easily been hit by gunfire.

I hope he is innocent because it sucks when kids like Miles frick up and ultimately ruin their trajectory on their life. Also isn't anyone innocent until proven guilty
I don't really lament when a superstar athlete screws up any more that when anyone else screws up. Like the world will really be so much worse if this guy doesn't get to play in the NBA.

Gotta say, after reading this statement I feel like I believed the media's lies that he delivered the gun, when instead he was just coming to pick up his friend. Shows what happens when you assume things (made an arse out of me). Glad he released a statement on this today, I think it was important to get this information out there so people wouldn't speculate based on what AL.COM provided yesterday which looked very much damning.

Culpepper also testified that Alabama superstar freshman Brandon Miller brought Miles the gun after Miles texted him and that Miles gave Davis his gun in Miller's car.
That's from the news story in the Tuscaloosa paper.

Pretty clear that the detective's testimony is accurately reflected in the column in the same paper. Causation is apparent in that language. The text from Miles prompted Miller to bring Miles his gun. There goes your "columnist" defense.

He didn't read his own text from Miles saying "bring me my gun"?
As someone who drove an hour out of my way to pick up a kid who was already at home, it is possible to be texted something and not read it.

quote:Wait a minute. Earlier today you said it was fact that he wasn’t even around at the time of the shooting. His lawyer says he never left his car. Something doesn’t add up.
His car was shot while he was in it!
quote:Are you saying he lied to police?
In his initial interview, he said he didn't even see the shooting. That would have to mean he wasn't there when that happened and the police can't prove that he was there. With the amount of video they apparently have, it seems clear that he wasn't around at this point. I doubt we'll find out what he was doing at that time unless he takes the stand and he's asked about that at trial.

quote:IF Miller helped set a trap to pin the Jeep in, then shooting commenced and an innocent person was killed then it stands to reason Miller would have been arrested, booked, and charged in relation to the crime.
because it is a LIE>
I'll go with the Detective's testimony that was given under oath vs a PR statement fluff piece from the kid's lawyer.
Street cam's are all over the Strip front and back. Camera footage is plentiful, investigators have had 1 months to weed through it, pile up witness testimony and view evidence. Miller hasn't been charged.

So let me get this straight, there is likely video evidence of Miller's car being there before the Jeep and dumbfricks in here are still saying he blocked the Jeep?

That's shocking. A defense attorney trying to spin PR in favor of his client.

You know there is actual evidence, right? Not your dumbass theories.

This is the only full timeline regarding Miller’s involvement that we’ve been given to this point, and aligns perfectly with there being no charges filed against him and no disciplinary action taken by the university.
This is truly a disgusting period for our forum, and the people participating in this entire charade are a sad example of what jealousy and envy will do to the dimwitted.

You are twisting yourself into knots now trying to defend Miller. The detective obviously implied causation with his sworn testimony and was not merely making a statement based on what happened when. Get real.

We don't even have the sworn statements but you can somehow identify obvious implied causation within said statements?
