Can LSU have a successful season with 4 quarters of QB play like that?

QB play was great. I don't know what you're talking about. There weren't many pass plays in the second half.

He also had a passing TD called back.

About as successful a season as Auburn can have if there QB throws 3 interceptions every game.

Go back and watch the game he was poised and heady the whole game the passes he missed on were in places only his recievers could catch the football. He showed great awareness in the pocket, good scramble ability and should have had 75 yards rushing if a run had not been called back. He also would have thrown for 140'ish if the two longer completions he had would have stood. So thats puts him with over 200 yards of total offense with 0 turnovers. He played great and had a couple of unfortunate plays get called back/ overturned incorrectly that greatly effected his stats. I know what I saw when watching him and Auburn is in trouble.

Just wait until our Bama refs get a hold of him in November.

Some LSU fans will be here to blast you, but most of us are wondering the same thing.

But what us feel better and what you aren't seeing in the statline is that LSU hit several big pass plays in the first half that were called back. Also in the 2nd half LSU never threw it on first down. Much to our dismay we sat on lead and it almost cost us.

The real question is, can LSU have a successful season if we don't open up the offense?

You underestimate how bad LSU's QB play has been over the past 10 years.

This does suck. I think Jeremy Johnson had more yardage in completions to players wearing white and red jerseys this past Saturday.

Considering that Southern Miss easily passed for 300 yards against MSU, it has to be of some concern.

At LSU we've had a QB have 30 yards in a game and still blow out teams. Passing yards aren't important to Les/Cam.
