I've never committed vehicular homicide.

And I think most people were pretty forgiving of the little motherfricker, even after it was announced he was high AF and not just sleepy from fishing at the lake.

Clearly his behavior hasn't changed, nor does he seem to have ANY remorse about taking those two parents away from their kids.

So you are behind alcohol prohibition as well? How about banning cell phones in cars? I'm pretty sure sure those two things have been at fault for a hell of a lot more accidents than cannabis.

If you are involved in a accident, and found to be impaired by alcohol or drugs, isn't your license immediately suspended?

I'd like to know how he is still driving around with a valid license. Impaired and killed two people, and gets another speeding ticket, and still driving to get another? Somebody dropped the ball.

It was more than an accident when he hit the Brambletts......he was stoned and going 89mph and accelerating when he hit them. Did he intend on hitting them? No....but he knew he was stoned and purposely drove reckless, he deserved prison when he took their lives.

Obviously he didn't learn any lessons from that and I'd doubt he had any remorse over it, especially seeing how he is still driving recklessly and doing it stoned. Actions speak pretty loudly. Maybe 5-15 yrs in prison would get his attention.

Why the little prick has an unsuspended license is the fault of a fricked up judicial system.

Dont think he has went to trial yet. So a judge wouldn't have made a decision on anything until then.

As far as implied consent, it really doesn't matter what you want to do. Law enforcement can get a warrant for your blood and toxicology reports.

And in Alabama you dont get arrested for driving while suspended or revoked. If his parents are still letting him drive he would probably be out driving anyway if they did revoke his dl.

What will be the civil liability in this case?

Property was used in an accident that caused death.

Help me lawyers. Could the parents be sued?

Find me the crowd that thinks people should be allowed to drive while high legally. I'll wait.

It is illegal to hold your phone while driving in Ga., so part of that is taken care of.

If you're dumb enough to drink & get behind the wheel, why should I excuse that? Hell, my roommate is on medicine that makes it where he can't drive.

But still DOES NOT negate the fact that this was caused due to marijuana.

It wasn't caused by weed. It was caused by a kid who was irresponsible and didn't care about the lives of others.

Or do you also blame guns for deaths too?

Say he hit a bus of school kids, you'ld still want marijuana legalized?

What about if he killed your family...still want it available?

Not necessarily. Clearly the kid is driving like an a-hole at any hour of the day. I doubt (but don’t know) he was high at 7:30 in the morning when he was driving 20 mph above the speed limit.
And it could’ve just as easily been alcohol, pills etc.
Cannabis legalization has nothing to do with this incident, clearly because Alabama will be the last state in the country to legalize.

Yes.
Again, cannabis is illegal in Alabama, so your point is moot.

yes, dummy

yes, dummy

because I have a middle school level of intelligence to realize those would be caused by a stupid, irresponsible individual. Not the plant he ingested earlier in the day.
