Now Let's do Bama,,,, You could do any school and get similar results.

It says we care about football.

And I quote you……

My suggestion is hire Freeze. You’ll see the light son but it will be a freight train that will put you out of your misery!

I'm not sold on him either.

There are no slam dunk hires that will cure our situation.

Petrino has always been Yella-Fella's man. Petrino to Auburn would be a great fit for both as he knows those that pull the strings. Bring Dell McGee home as OC/Head Recruiter, either Travarious Robinson or Travis Williams back as DC and lets go.

The barn is absolutely screwed. They made the wrong hire and recruiting sucks. They will be battling it out for last place in the West for the next 6+ years with Miss State. No good coach is going to go to that dysfunctional school on the plains.

Raybern57, How could Ole Miss be a 2nd tier school and own the west at the same time?

"I don't want him but Ole Miss at it's best is always a
2nd tier school in the conference. If any of the top schools want their coach they will be gone."

"If he hadn't screwed up and beat Saban 2 years in a row then Saban wouldn't have ran to the ncaa and he would still be at OM and owning the west."

1. Deion Sanders, Jackson State

How many minutes do the staff at the Adult Retardation Center allow on the internet? I think you've blown past your allotted time.

Deion Sanders was coaching high school football in 2020! He's at a SWAC school now, in his 2nd year. He has NEVER coached in FBS, and you want to hire him for the top job at an SEC West school because he does AFLAC commercials with Saban and a duck? That's like General Mills hiring a 10 y/o girl that runs a good lemonade stand!

What are the benefits of Auburn over Ole Miss for Kiffin? None.

Recruiting location, facilities, school and fanbase numbers. Money is another issue.

You're crazy if you honestly believe this lol

Some coaches might want more assurances than they would for other P5 jobs given the state of the roster, but Auburn is a destination job

If nothing else, win or lose at Auburn you are walking away with a LOT of money. That will attract somebody.

Now your reputation may be shot, but at least you will be rich.

Hiring Primetime would make for great TV. I'd like to see it happen.

Large differences in lying about barbecues and lying about hookers.

Terrible comparison.

And do you think Ole Miss is a relevant program??? Bro there’s maybe been 3 seasons in the last 50 where you could even argue that ole miss football was relevant. Even your best seasons, calling y’all relevant is a huge stretch.

Yea, go ahead with this. NOBODY and I mean NOBODY is going to control Jimmy Rane no more than Bobby Lowder was. Whn you are giving 20 mil to a school you are going to have a say. Tubs once tried to remove Rane as during a game Rane had moved to where the coaches stand and started giving "suggestions" on what they needed to do.
This whole Deion thing would be quite the contrary. There would be fighting between Deion and the boosters like never seen there before and the boosters always win at that place.
You have to have a coach that the brass respects but said coach can walk the line and produce results. Pat Dye was perfect in that spot. he had a good relationship, didn't piss off the brass, would "listen" to what they had to say, do just enough to keep them happy and won enough to keep them at bay.

And what game was this? Surely there’s some photographic evidence somewhere in existence

Funny how the average Bama fan on the streets always seems to have their finger on the pulse of Auburn’s inner workings and know what’s going on behind the scenes better than any Auburn insider
