How in the hell does this really help LSU then? Aside from the enjoyment y'all get from pulling our leg... We will live with whatever outcome, but LSU will lose some rivalries in the process while A&M keeps/adds historic rivals.

LSU gets little out of playing in a division that is like the Big 12 from hell. Y’all should be on our side in this thing as y’all obviously have a good thing going but I get that it’s a lot of money on the line. When is enough enough though?

I mean I get y’all laughing at our meltdown. In fact it’s kinda touching y’all care so much to laugh (how many of y’all were clowning on A&M when Mike Leach was pushing our shite in back in the Big 12?).

But at some point this is a forever change for a single media deal. I thought part of the Mizzou and A&M appeal was an academic boost but OU/Texas is a mixed bag there. So then it’s all about money and frankly if the SEC didn’t give a shite about rivalries it could have made more money years ago.

That's going to be a big issue.

If OU and Texas enter, the most sensible realignment would be
East:
Alabama
Auburn
Georgia
Florida
Kentucky
Tennessee
South Carolina
Vanderbilt

West:
LSU
Miss State
Ole Miss
Arkansas
Texas
A&M
Missouri
Oklahoma

In a lot of ways, this becomes 2 paired conferences meeting for a championship (if they still keep that). South Carolina gets to stay in "the real SEC", and LSU and the Miss schools get kicked over to the New Big 8/SWC. LSU would lose the Bama, Fla and Auburn games, which would suck for us- those are the big 3 I want to see the most.

I could see this setup appealing to a lot of the East schools, which could be a hassle for LSU.

Y’all know how our school collapsed in on itself costing us 100s of millions…yeah that was old Mr. Loftin add be wheel for us. That guy can take whatever opinions he has and shove it. There’s a reason his tenure at Mizzou ended in 2015.

It’s not worth it for us. I want to play Alabama, Florida, & Auburn yearly. Anything less than that and it would be too boring to watch. Sure, Texas/OU would be fun—but it is not the same.

Texas & OU benefit from this more than we do.

Aggy can suck a dick. They aren’t Florida who can keep out another school in state. Aggy is a piss ant athletic program. We want the big school

Losing Bama, Florida and Auburn would be the hardest of NOs from me, and I think most LSU fans.

The ones posting here just know they don’t get a vote and keeping the melt going is more fun than bitching about something we have no control over.

If for some reason there aren’t pods and LSU ends up in the SWC I’ll need a new hobby.
