I thought it was interesting that Ole Miss offered up a post-season ban for WBB, but not Football or T&F.

Cool. I find fishing and the stock market interesting.

I couldn't imagine being a fan of ole miss dude. Just think about that for a minute... the pros and cons of being an lsu fan to an ole miss fan. Pretty obvious. Yall sucked, you cheated, and you still suck...Nobody respects ole miss and never will.

These self-imposed sanctions aren't inconsequential by any stretch, but they are absolutely the best deal Ole Miss' administrations thinks they can get. That should tell you how bad they know a harsh reaction from the NCAA could be.

I agree with several other posters that the number of Level 1 allegations will likely catch up with you guys. You will lose more scholarships, and a single season postseason ban and a Show-Cause or two are legit possibilities, as well. Under the new NCAA penalty framework, you can bet Freeze will get some kind of sanction, as coaches are now held responsible for all staff and booster actions by default.

Our administration has been working directly with the ncaa. It should be obvious that we've also been in discussion with them about our penalties.

The accepted ull's self imposed penalties.

The melt on here from ole miss haters has been glorious

The fact that your own school's lawyers took 153 pages to try and explain why y'all did what you did to keep from losing to Mullen a 4th straight year is even more glorious

I'm really starting to believe that they are truly just this stupid. Or maybe they have just been brainwashed. Maybe it's like Scientology for them, they get to the point where they have invested so much into it that their ego will not let them step away from it.

Your admin's proposal hinges on the NCAA accepting the assertation that they were wrong in classifying several of the violations as Level 1. If there is one thing the NCAA doesn't do very often, it's admit they were wrong.

I wouldn't assume bans and Show-Causes, but they could happen if the Tunsil investigation goes badly enough to turn them on you. However, I would put money on more scholarships being taken, and some kind of sanction on Freeze. That is absolutely consistent with their new penalty policies.

You do understand that your own university has already fired several coaches and will fire more, docked itself 11 or so scholarships, and volunteered to pay 150k in fines, right?

Hahahaha. Comical. I love how you dramatize it, and yet it is nothing compared to what you, Tide Nation, and the rest of the SEC had hoped for regarding violations. We're not going anywhere. DWI

Wasn't it 5 level 1s under Freeze?

This is the same coach that said if you know of any misdeeds please report them?

And they're still investigating?

Lmao!!! You act as if usc, ull, or any other member does NOT work with the ncaa. What a stupid arse argument to make.

No they didnt.... they added to it.

LINK

They added to it and their cooperation was near flawless. Once they were told of what saunders did, they fired the guy. You still have coaches on staff that created this mess. You had tunsil state openly that he was paid with texts to prove it.... AFTER the ncaa had wrapped up their investigation.

yep. We cheated to get tunsil. But after 4 years, there's hasn't shite to be found from the rest of that class.

What about the allegations of 4 incidents with Maurice Harris assisting in booster/recruit arrangements to the tune of $2,000 and change from that class?
