When AP was awarding this title it was voted on as everyone knows; that said how can someone then years later deny who was awarded the NC based on the rules then not now??
There was also a lot of bias by the Northern Media against Southern Schools back in the 60' s and 70' s also. Case in point: Alabama was 11-0 in 1966/ Notre Dame was 10-0-1, And was.awarded the NC by AP.

Whether it be 15, 9, or 5 national titles, Alabama still has more than any team in the history of college football.
In fact...Chicken's troll actually makes Alabama's run over the last 5 years or so the greatest dynasty in the history of college football. Under this logic, Nebraska of the mid-90s only has 1 legit national title as they played #3 Miami at the end of the 1994 season and #3 Tennessee at the end of the 1997 season.
