Was watching Sportscenter and Bob Knight mentioned that he was thinking about possibly coming back to Coach.. So with the current job openings what would AUB need to do to lure him to Auburn?

Knight might be a good fit at Auburn- he would probably get complete control, and would put fans in the seats

I seriously doubt he'd come to AU, is it possible yes but I'd prefer to get someone younger. We do need someone who is seasoned as they need to hit the ground running.

Unfortunately I have to agree with the gump. The idea of Knight coming to Auburn is laughable at best. But it would never hurt for Jay to ask him.

Could you imagine the fright that would be enstilled in players and coaches in the SEC. I think it would be a great fit.. Plus the seats would be filled at the Arena with everyone awaiting Bobby to launch a chair

Neither was TTU, but now looking back it seemed he took the job so he could ensure that his son got a head coaching position.

Good question. He went to Texas Tech. The armpit of college sports. Why not Auburn? The only problem is he is 70, and I think he may be done coaching

He is a proven winner.. I guess it would be a bidding war to get him.. Imagine Charles Barkley and Bobby Knight bumping heads it would be the fight of the century.. Both are very outspoken.. Then Knight would want to personally beat the crap out of Cali at Kentucky..

That is complete BS. The job is what one makes of it. There is a new area and new practice facilities. Plus the SEC west is consistently weak. You statement has no merit.

Brannigan.. These gumps always try to make like Auburn is a dump.. They cannot stomach the fact of Auburn having a better coach than them..

Yes Bobby Knight age is a factor but let him come in and rebuild our program and get a good foundation in place then the seats will fill and the teams will win.. Then he can retire and maybe he could suggest or maybe have an assistant in the waiting to take control.
