Well we do have some dumb fans so it’s possible you talked to one or two of them but as someone who is an LSU fan myself and knows many other LSU fans as well as the temperature of the fan base at any given time, only the goofiest of our fans were happy to see him go. He was very successful here and was DC on an NC winning team!

There was a whole group that really did not like Pelini. They were pretty vocal about it.

I know if I had heard the name Ricky Jean Francois one more time I would have puked.

It seems like he was in on every play on both sides of the ball.

Maybe it was just the unique name stood out.

Let me explain something to you. I really don't care if you have air in your lungs 5 minutes from now. Much less whether your swamp arse believes anything.

an inaccurate statement. Pelini did a damn fine job at LSU. and we won the Nattie in '07. in case you haven't discovered it yet there are always some fans that want a coach fired at LSU. probably other schools also.

there was NO groundswell of fan support for Pelini to leave. so you heard a couple of drunk guys on the Marta 13 years ago and now bring it here as a concensus among hundreds of thousands of LSU fans? loser

The Man coached Suh at Nebraska. Suh had 4.5 career sacks before Pelini took over.

He ended 2008 with 7.5 and we all know what he did in 2009.

LSU is going back to a balanced front, pressure Defense, and still the same man-to-man secondary.

LB's are a huge upgrade atm from what he had at LSU prior. LB was always the weak point.
