I think there were some who were concerned about Pelini vs what Saban "mythically" did. I say myth, because while we looked back and imagined Saban's D held everyone under 10 pts, that wasn't really true.
ASU and Tennessee, and later UGA moved on the 2005 team. UGA the team was exhausted.
2007 would have been undefeated if UK and Arkansas didn't go off in the second half.
But I think the vast majority of fans were happy with Pelini, and happy for him when he got the Nebraska job. That was still a marquee position at the time.

1- you’re making all of this up.
2- if not, just because you heard a few fans on a train, doesn’t mean it’s indicative of an entire fan base. That’s a fricking idiotic line of thinking, hillbilly.
As for how LSU fans as a whole felt about Bo in 2007, we knew he was a likely HC candidate. That’s it.
