Do people actually think SEC refs have special instructions to dictate games? Or is it just possible SEC refs are shite? Like stated above, why would SEC refs protect Auburn this year?

Refs are just shite. And because Alabama almost always wins, people remember bad calls that benefited Alabama and helped Alabama win.

Anyone since conferences are NOT designed to determine who is the best team. Hell, they don't even take out of conference games into account at all.
Why in the hell do you think the conference champion format is for that purpose?
