I get the Bo hate, as he does come off as kinda douchey.

But seriously, did he say anything that any other SEC fanbase other than Bama would actually dispute?

did yall take the time to actually hear what he said or do you just blindly trust the headline?

"Just a few of those controversial calls that were in that game raises some questions for sure, unless you're an Alabama fan. But that's just part of the game," Nix said regarding Alabama's win over Arkansas on Saturday.

"That's not going to change, no matter what happens. But it was a good game for sure."

Nix did not give any specifics, but he could have referenced a fourth quarter review of a Jameson Williams touchdown that ultimately stood as called. The Crimson Tide took a two-score lead on that TD with 5:39 left

The OP also left this out as well...

But that doesn't make good bulletin board material

Nix did have something positive to say about Alabama, mentioning Williams' strong game against the Razorbacks, when he caught eight passes for 190 yards and three touchdowns. "Jameson Williams is another one of the best receivers in the SEC," Nix said about the Ohio State transfer receiver. "That guy can fly."

Yeah, it was the fans' fault. That life getting sucked out of the stadium couldn't have possibly had anything to do with... I dunno... the other team scoring 40 unanswered points on them or anything...

It was the fans.

How many teams can lose their division and still get a mulligan for a title?

You mean the year they went on and won the National Championship?

Or the other year when they got beat by LSU during regular season then came back and beat them 21-0 in the title game?

Yeah. They never should have played t=for the title, because they were clearly not the best team.

Did you forget to include this part of his quote?

“Nix was later asked to elaborate on his remark and whether he thinks Alabama gets favorable calls from SEC officials.

“I mean, legitimately, I think you can watch the game and anybody unbiased will think that something is different,” Nix said. “It is what it is. It’s kind of how it’s always been.”

No, not really. Just calling it like I see it.

As the OP, I just included a link to the story, so how could I have left anything out?

My point was the irony of Nix saying Alabama gets preferential calls when he specifically has been the recipient of an egregious call and his team has gotten the benefit of several since he has been at Auburn.

He absolutely did not. On the other hand I don't recall another player saying it to the media.
There is a difference between a player and a fan base, right?

That's right, you weren't even considerate enough to quote the faux-outrage either. All around shitty job

He needs STFU, he comes across as whiny. He needs to be concentrating on healing up and watching ton of film so that he can learn to read a defense.

No - he ain't. It's just ironic - Auburn bitching about calls, because they've had more than their share until lately.

But the kid ain't wrong at all. Not even a little. Frankly, I liked that he bitched about them. Birmingham won't fine the player for it. At least not yet.
