That article makes two MASSIVE assumptions:
1. The NCAA will accept Ole Miss' self imposed penalties without adding more (why in the world would anyone assume that?)
2. Ole Miss will be able to recruit at the same level despite A) The negative publicity and fear of further penalties/program decline, AND B) Having to be squeaky clean now.
If you're willing to just assume those two things, then maybe Ole Miss won't be affected much. But damn, that's two massive assumptions.

If Ole Miss couldn't even come close to winning the SEC by cheating their asses off, how the frick will they ever do so without cheating? No one would ever want to play at a shite hole program in a shite hole town. Ole Miss is done. Over. I think a death penalty for Ole Miss would be best for them.

Ole. Miss will be likely pretty good in 2016. Will go down in subsequent seasons

Worse. Sounds like a Barrett Sallee piece.

Mullen is taking Richt's place on the NCAA's Committee on Infractions. OM won't get away with shite now.

Hey guys, take it easy on them. They literally have no frame of reference for what "eliteness" really means. Let them have their fun. They paid for it, after all.

We sign at least 15 3 star players a year. We can deal with a loss of 5 scholorships if we need to.

I love how alabama fans identity is built around the school. They feel elite because some 19 year old kids won a few football games. Lmao. This is why everyone gets so many laughs when you guys lose. Literally half of your fan base loses their shite and cries/breaks stuff/murders their friend.

Recruiting while on probation does suck. Bama fans can attest. The negative recruiting is epic.
