I don't agree with this personally..I'm for all or nothing.

Nope...the AP doesn't HAVE to vote with the BCS.

I tend to agree with Solomon. For instance, if Alabama won 9-6 I'd certainly think LSU should get a split NC, i.e. the AP.

Having said that, if the AP votes Lsu #1, I personally wouldn't have a problem with them claiming a share. Probably ought to wait and watch the game first though before awarding anything to anyone though.

I wasn't basing my statement on this basis, I know AP votes their own way.
The AP will vote the winner of the title game #1, because they won the title game on the field. No chance of a split title.

The editor for the Birmingham rag is an AU alum and us Bama fans have been dealing with the Bama bashing from them for a long time. We don't expect them to write anything good about us.
