I don’t really see it either. But if he wants to come back to Texas and we’re will to money whip him then maybe. We’d be stupid not to go for a few bigger names even if it means getting turned down. Our basketball program is not out football program. The support, built in advantages, and facilities aren’t there.

Definitely worth reaching out. Virginia Techs only long term advantage over A&M is the league it's in.
All the general SEC football school negatives apply to it.

Possible. Fourth or fifth is about the best he can finish in the ACC. With LSU on the ropes less quality teams to contend with in the conference. He’s second fiddle in Virginia. That’s possible.

Not really, not on basketball. That being said, I understand A&M reached out to Buzz some time ago through "intermediaries" and supposedly there is mutual interest. Is he really serious or will he leverage A&M's interest into a better payday at VT?

For what it's worth, A&M and VT sources both are saying it's highly likely that Buzz will take the A&M job. At this point, it seems very likely.
