Total Touches

Y’all thought I was crazy with my predictions before the season..

The TD numbers are a little light so far, but I would say my predictions were pretty damn good.

Yes I know, More Sports Board.

Yet Sark abandoned the run game in the 2nd half and y'all choked in epic fashion.

lol he did not.. we tried but couldn’t run the ball in the 2nd half..

Our OL is below average.. Bijan got 126 of his 137 yards against OU after contact..

I’ll pull up his stats in the first and second half.

I’m curious to know his stats against an SEC line as well.

Bijan Robinson: 137 on 20 carries (6.9 ypc avg.)

Kennedy Brooks: 217 on 25 carries (8.7 ypc avg.) and pretty much all of it after contact. Haven't seen an OU RB break that many tackles since Perine.

Bijan's a good but not great RB. Honestly man, he looked slow out there.

He’s a good player on a team with a crappy OL.

And the Big 12 plays terrible defense those stats aren’t worth much. Just look at your game against an SEC team.

Oklahoma decided to stop Bijan and bring pressure against Casey if we didn’t hand off.. and our OL cratered..

I said it before the game.. our OL is a hot mess..

A team where we played with a different QB..

Casey opens up the offense because of our bad OL.. but you are right.. our OL is bad.. but we scored 48 points with them.. we lost because of the defense..

100% - our defense missed a lot of tackles against Brooks

When we find a defense and even an average OL.. we will be pretty good.. until then, i’m thankful we play in the Big 12.

Literally no one said you were crazy. The big 12 is shite,

Your question was does he get an invite to New York with those numbers and we all said no. Not on a 5 loss team.

As an OU fan we saw Deuce Vaughn and Robinson in back to back games. Robinson is big and strong and has great balance and quickness for a guy his size...

But Deuce Vaughn is flat out ridiculous. It's like trying to tackle a minnow.

I really enjoyed that game on Saturday but couldn't believe how bad both teams played on defense. Very soft, poor tackling, bad angles, etc.

You'll both need to pursue the Lane Kiffin route in the SEC with those defenses.

Fair points. The defense was atrocious for the most part. Both teams have good skill position talent, but glaring soft spots. Texas’ D passes the eye test and were rarely out of position, but just very inconsistent tackling. OU needs to find some corners who can play man.

To your point though, both teams defenses are a product of the weak B12. But both teams offense will stretch SEC defenses. The transition to the SEC will be interesting for all involved.
